Lisa Saeboe is a Norwegian-American visual artist, set designer, and filmmaker currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work synthesizes mysticism, sexuality, and the natural world. Saeboe explores themes of feminine power and our divine connection to our ecology, often depicting alchemically-realized depictions of self-transformation. She received a BFA in Visual and Critical Studies from the School of Visual Arts in 2015. Most recently, she has exhibited at WHAAM!, NADA Art Fair in Miami, All Street Gallery, SVA Flatiron Project Space, and attended the NES Artist Residency in northern Iceland. Her most recent paintings will be exhibited at Geary, curated by Elijah Wheat Showroom, in October 2024.
